Purpose
Sorellon Limited aims to reduce the environmental effect of its operations and supply decisions. This policy applies to our sourcing, purchasing, administration, packaging and delivery planning.
Our commitments
- Follow applicable UK environmental law and buyer requirements.
- Use the waste hierarchy: prevent, reduce, reuse, recycle, recover and dispose as a last resort.
- Ask suppliers for relevant environmental and product evidence where the specification requires it.
- Reduce unnecessary packaging and favour recyclable or lower-impact options where practical.
- Plan consolidated and direct deliveries where this reduces waste or avoidable transport.
- Record and review environmental objectives as the business grows.
Carbon reporting
Our net-zero target is 2040. Baseline emissions data is still being completed. The current position and interim targets are published in our Carbon Reduction Plan. We do not present incomplete figures as verified results.
Responsibility and review
The Director is responsible for this policy. It is reviewed at least annually and when the business, law or buyer requirements change.
