Carbon Reduction Plan

This Carbon Reduction Plan sets out Sorellon Limited's approach to managing and reducing carbon emissions in accordance with applicable UK public sector procurement requirements.

1. Commitment

Sorellon Limited is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its operations where practical and proportionate to the nature and scale of its business activities.

2. Scope

This plan applies to activities undertaken by Sorellon Limited in the delivery of goods and services to customers. The scope of emissions considered reflects the operational boundaries of the business.

3. Baseline

Sorellon is a newly incorporated micro-business and its first evidence-backed emissions baseline is not yet complete. We will not present placeholders or unsupported estimates as measured emissions. Activity data will be gathered for purchased goods, freight, business travel, energy, and waste before a baseline is published.

4. Emissions Management

Sorellon Limited seeks to manage emissions through appropriate operational controls and procurement practices. Actions are reviewed periodically and adjusted in line with business activity and regulatory guidance.

5. Carbon Reduction Measures

Compare options from a vetted global supplier network using landed cost, lead time and available environmental evidence.
Consolidate shipments and avoid unnecessary air freight where delivery requirements permit.
Request product, packaging, and freight information from key suppliers.
Specify recyclable or reduced packaging where practical and contract-compatible.
Retain shipment and activity records needed to calculate the first baseline.

6. Governance

Responsibility for this Carbon Reduction Plan rests with the management of Sorellon Limited. The plan is reviewed and updated as necessary to reflect changes in regulation or business operations.

7. Compliance Statement

This page is an interim transparency statement, not a representation that Sorellon currently has a PPN 006-compliant Carbon Reduction Plan. Where PPN 006 or another carbon condition applies to a procurement, Sorellon will submit only an evidence-backed plan that meets the stated technical standard.
